Child Safety Standards

Last updated: June 16, 2026

Freetalk has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Protecting minors is one of our highest priorities. This page sets out the standards and practices we apply across the entire platform — videos, captions, comments, profiles, direct messages, group chats, live content, shop listings, coins, and gifts. These standards apply in addition to our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.

1. Prohibited Content & Conduct

We strictly prohibit, and will remove, the following without exception:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, real, animated, or computer-generated.
  • Any content that sexualises, endangers, or exploits a minor.
  • Grooming, enticement, or solicitation of a minor for sexual purposes.
  • Sextortion, or the sharing or threat of sharing intimate imagery of a minor.
  • Trafficking, sexualised commentary about, or any other exploitation of minors.
  • Attempting to use coins, gifts, the shop, or messaging to facilitate any of the above.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Freetalk, and Freetalk is not directed to children under 13. Monetisation features — purchasing coins, sending gifts, shopping, and advertising — are intended for users 18 and older. We may remove accounts that we believe belong to underage users.

3. How to Report

Anyone can report suspected CSAE content or behaviour directly in the app. Tap the share or menu icon on any video, comment, profile, or message and choose Report. You can also Block any user from their profile to stop all contact. You do not need an account to alert us — you can email our safety team at any time at freetalk300@gmail.com. Reports concerning the safety of a minor are treated as the highest priority.

4. How We Respond

  • We review reports of CSAE on a priority basis and act on confirmed violations as quickly as possible.
  • We remove violating content and permanently ban the accounts responsible.
  • We report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement and relevant national and regional authorities as required by law.
  • We preserve relevant information to support investigations to the extent permitted by law.

5. Compliance

Freetalk complies with all applicable child-safety laws in the jurisdictions where it operates, and reports to regional and national authorities, including NCMEC, where required. We continually review and improve our detection, reporting, and enforcement practices to keep minors safe.

6. Designated Point of Contact

Our designated point of contact for child-safety and CSAM prevention matters can be reached at freetalk300@gmail.com. This contact is able to respond to questions about our child-safety standards and compliance practices.
