1. Information We Collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We store this to create and identify your account. We also collect content you upload (videos, captions, hashtags), interactions (likes, comments, bookmarks, follows), and basic usage data such as view counts.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate and improve the Freetalk platform, personalise your feed, enable creator and viewer features, send notifications you have opted into, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Data Sharing

Your public profile, videos, and engagement counts are visible to other users. We share data with infrastructure providers (Cloudflare, Neon) solely to operate the service. We may disclose data when required by law.

We retain your account data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

We use a session cookie for authentication and local storage to remember preferences such as mute state. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
