Creator Shop Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility
To open a Freetalk Creator Shop you must have a verified Freetalk account in good standing, be at least 18 years of age, and reside in a country where Freetalk supports seller payouts. You must pay the one-time shop activation fee before your shop goes live.
2. Product Listings
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your product descriptions, prices, images, and stock levels. Products must not be illegal, counterfeit, hazardous, or violate any third-party intellectual property rights. Freetalk reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these terms or our Community Guidelines.
3. Fees & Commission
Freetalk charges a platform commission on each completed sale. The current commission rate is displayed in your Seller Dashboard and may be updated with 30 days' notice. The shop activation fee is non-refundable. Payment processing fees charged by our payment provider (Stripe) are passed through at cost.
4. Orders & Fulfilment
You are responsible for fulfilling orders promptly, providing accurate shipping information, and communicating with buyers. Orders must be marked as shipped within 5 business days of purchase. Failure to fulfil orders may result in suspension of your shop.
5. Returns & Refunds
You must offer buyers a minimum 14-day return window for items that are not as described or are defective. Freetalk may issue a refund to a buyer and deduct the amount from your seller balance if you fail to respond to a return request within 5 business days. Digital goods are generally non-refundable unless defective.
6. Payouts
Payouts are processed to your connected Stripe account after a holding period to account for potential refunds. You must complete Stripe's identity verification (KYC) before any payouts are made. Freetalk is not liable for delays caused by Stripe's verification process.
7. Prohibited Items
The following are prohibited in Freetalk Creator Shops: weapons, drugs or drug paraphernalia, adult-only content, items that facilitate gambling, counterfeit goods, and any item whose sale is unlawful in the seller's or buyer's jurisdiction. Violations may result in immediate shop closure and account termination.
8. Intellectual Property
By listing a product you confirm that you own or have the right to sell it and that your listing does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights. If we receive a valid IP complaint about your listing, we will remove it and notify you. Repeated infringement will result in permanent shop closure.
9. Taxes
You are responsible for determining and fulfilling any tax obligations arising from your sales, including income tax, VAT, GST, or sales tax. Freetalk provides earnings summaries in your Seller Dashboard to assist with this but does not provide tax advice.
10. Suspension & Termination
Freetalk may suspend or permanently close your shop if you violate these terms, our main Terms of Service, or Community Guidelines. We may also close your shop if your account is banned. The one-time activation fee is non-refundable in all cases.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of your Creator Shop after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
